Twenty-five years ago, Romania was a different place —and so was I.

What started as a journey shaped by uncertainty and hope became something deeper - a collection of stories, people I met and moments that taught me what leadership really means. Not titles. Not power. But the impact of people — quiet, lasting
and often unexpected.

It is their voices that shaped and continue to shape the leadership, business and cultural landscape of Romania. This first volume features 50 leaders with whom, as a facilitator and coach, I have worked with professionally, known personally or met briefly. Every
one of them has a genuine desire to make a difference and I was keen to capture and document, through informal conversations, their authentic voices in a concise format.

For this reason each conversation was distilled and edited to approximately 100 words.
