      “The Fearless Organization” was “music to my soul”. It confirmed with solid scientific data that fear stands in the way of performance, regardless of where and how we define that performance. It sparked my curiosity and desire to dig deeper into the subject, which I subsequently pursued with my certification in Amy Edmonson’s methodology for building psychological safety within teams and organizations.

      The book helped me crystalize my understanding of the specific behaviors that either nurture or undermine psychological safety and induce fear. Psychological safety and fear imply different approaches and only one toward performance. Since then, I have become more mindful in observing and acting in all areas of my life: both in my family, as a mother of three daughters, and in my work with the leaders and teams I support in their development.
