      I read this book after one client shared with me his enthusiasm about it. Once I read it, I shared back my enthusiasm with him and we looked for ways to apply some of the insights into his growing company in the financial sector. We may not usually think about ourselves as being part of one or more tribes, but we share this need as a specie. We may live this belonging unconsciously or we may choose to identify where we are and how we want to evolve.

      The book offers a practical guide to navigate through the five stages of tribal cultures from the most ineffective to the most high-performing one. And how to lead them in the direction you want. Being very case-based, Logan’s approach offers a comprehensive roadmap for understanding tribal dynamics, outcomes and development using what he calls “leverage points” that will help the leader unstuck the tribe from one stage to another. That is, of course, if the leader first elevates the level of self-awareness of the tribe regarding the stage it is in.
