"When the Fire Burns" is a musical portrait of Manuel De Falla, one of the three great Spanish composers alongside Albéniz and Rodrigo.
Shot in Spain and Argentina, the film successfully captures the contrast between the rich sensuality of De Falla's music and the almost monastic asceticism of his life.
The director is Larry Weinstein, known for "Burnt Toast", "Our Man in Tehran" and "Ravel's Brain".
